Welcome to my “Weekly Weigh In”, where I will update you weekly on where I am at on the dreaded scale!  =O 

I will be “updating” every WEDNESDAY, as I find that a good middle point for me weight wise as I typically weigh more on the weekends (typically only 1 day of running & more “temptation” eating) and less on the week days (2+  days of training/running & more “on point” eating).

  • Wednesday, 10/14/09 – 143 pounds (busy social eating weekend)
  • Wednesday, 10/21/09 – 144 pounds (missed a run this week)
  • Wednesday, 10/28/09 – 143 pounds
  • Wednesday, 11/4/09 – 142 pounds
  • Wednesday, 11/11/09 – 142 pounds
  • Wednesday, 11/18/09 – 142 pounds
  • Wednesday, 11/25/09 – 141 pounds (finally lost a pound)
  • Wednesday, 12/2/09 – 142 pounds (up again, but not too bad after a holiday)

  • Wednesday, 5/28/10 – 143 pounds (bad camping eats)
  • Wednesday, 6/2/10 – 143 pounds
  • Wednesday, 6/9/10 – 142 pounds (getting down again)
  • Wednesday, 6/16/10 – 140 pounds (WOO HOO!!!)
  • Wendesday, 6/23/10 – 142 pounds (vaca weight gain)
  • Wednesday, 6/30/10 – 142 pounds (still the same)
  • Wednesday, 7/7/10 – 143 pounds (i gained over the 4th)
  • Wednesday, 7/14/10 – 142 pounds (back down a little)
  • Wednesday, 7/21/10 – 143 pounds (back up again, a reoccurring theme)
  • Wednesday, 7/28/10 – 144 pounds (and up more again)
  • Wednesday, 8/4/10 – 142 pounds (big smile, i am back down again)
  • Wednesday, 8/11/10 – 142 pounds (stayed the same)
  • Wednesday, 8/18/10 – 142 pounds
  • Wednesday, 8/25/10 – 143 pounds (up slightly, due to less gym time)
  • Wednesday, 9/1/10 – 143 pounds (stayed same, time of month)
  • Wednesday, 9/8/10 – 143 pounds
  • Wednesday, 9/14/10 – 141 pounds (totally shocked to see this number)
  • Wednesday, 9/23/10 – 141 pounds (stayed the same, yeah)
  • Wednesday, 9/29/10 – 142 pounds (time of the month, water weight)
  • Wednesday, 10/6/10 – 141 pounds (back down again)
  • Wednesday, 10/13/10 – 141 pounds
  • Wednesday, 10/20/10 – 143 pounds (lots of celebration eating)
  • Wednesday, 10/27/10 – 143 pounds (time of month came early)
  • Wednesday, 11/3/10 – 143 pounds (too much candy)
  • Wednesday, 11/10/10 – 142 pounds (finally going back down)
  • Wednesday, 11/17/10??? (didn’t weigh myself)
  • Wednesday, 11/24/10 – 144 pounds
  • Wednesday, 12/1/10 – 143 pounds
  • Wednesday, 12/8/10 – 143 pounds (no change, still sick)
  • Wednesday, 12/15/10 – 142 pounds (big smiles)
  • Wednesday, 12/22/10 – 143 pounds
  • Wednesday, 12/29/10 – ??? (didn’t weigh myself, sick)
  • Wednesday, 1/5/11 – ??? (was afraid to see, will next week)
  • Wednesday, 1/12/11 – 147 pounds (up, but not as high as expected)
  • Wednesday, 1/19/11 – 148 pounds (up a bit, but was a low energy weekend)
  • Wednesday, 1/26/11 – 148 pounds (stayed the same, better luck next week)
  • Wednesday, 2/2/11 – 147 pounds (down a bit)

*You will notice that my weight fluctuates up & down a lot sometimes, this is totally normal for me and has been throughout my entire “weight loss” journey.  I weigh myself pretty much at the same time everyday, in the morning right after I wake up and after I have visited the little girls room.  I find this the best time of day for me. 

My weight will go up and down for various reasons, which I have listed below:

  • Missed a “training” (run or gym) day or two!
  • Ate more the day before, that week or had more “treats” then normal!
  • Attended a “special event”!
  • It is right before that “time of the month”!

I do not let my fluctuations in weight bother me as I have learned they are totally normal for me (& anyone for that matter) and I just remember to be mindful if any of the above reasons are effecting my weight too often and if any changes need to be made in my diet or training to keep me on point!  =)

    Hello….

    I am a student and was wondering if you have any tips on night eating….I not hungry….and do have quite a bit of knowledge about balanced eating throughout the day….and do workout alot….but it seems I just go through cycles of binge eating in the night….it’s very upsetting to me….Any tips?
