Training

I always try to continually challenge myself to run faster and/or farther by listing my goals on my calendar and on my blog as well each month.  Than, I work towards those goals on a daily/weekly basis!

This approach has worked best for me (outside of race season), however I know that many other runners follow specific training schedules in order to reach their goals of increasing their distance, speed or preparing for an up coming race.

You can find tons of wonderful training schedules online, I recently found The Runner’s World SMARTCOACH that you can customize just for you, check it out at SMARTCOACH.
